Junior Protection Plan
Providing essential cover for the children under your care
Junior Protection Plan (JPP) is a special Group Personal Accident Insurance plan for children from the age of 2 months, who are registered at kindergartens, childcare centres and before and after school care centres.
For as little as $3 per child per year, registered students at your facility will enjoy 24-hour worldwide cover for death and disability due to accident. Designed with children in mind, JPP extends to cover medical expenses1 and certain activities usually excluded under a standard personal accident insurance plan, such as rock climbing (as a supervised Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and riding as a pillion on a motorcycle (traveling to and from school with the parent or guardian).

To enhance the coverage for your students, JPP provides much needed protection for:
- Accidental injuries sustained during supervised CCAs such as rock-climbing
- Accidental injuries sustained while riding pillion on a motorcycle to and from school with the parent or guardian
- Food poisoning contracted in school or while engaging in school activities
- Accidental injuries arising from dog bites and bee stings
Protecting the dedicated team
Nothing is more important than the people who are instrumental to a child’s education journey. JPP extends cover3 to principals, teaching and non-teaching staff for accidents occurring during official school hours within the school compound.
JPP also provides accidental death cover3 for principals and teaching staff whilst they are supervising or accompanying students during CCAs and Physical Education classes.
